Good food but others in town are better for me...

We ordered a bulk order of tamales on fairly short notice, and they were delicious! The Cielito Lindo staff was very friendly and helpful. More than recommend.

the food here is the BOMB, excellent taste unlike most other places, and has that autentico sabor mexicano de verdad, not like los amigos in my town. Would Highly recommend🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 ¡ a toda madre!

This is a smaller place but it's really clean and the service is fast. There food is great, especially if you like "street tacos". They also sale tamales in bulk and they are really good!

Not that great. Won't go back. Please remember I am judging all Mexican restaurants here in North Texas with the food I have eaten for the past 60 years. Wish there was a real Mexican restaurant near me. I have to drive back to Houston to get the real deal.

This place is by far the best Mexican food around I drive 30 minuets to eat here and highly recommend it to any one. We love their tacos 🌮 and they are authentic. Wonderful service

Amazing authentic Mexican food! Don’t expect to come here and eat Tex-Mex, go to taco bell if that’s what you’re looking for. Chips are fresh not store bought.

Friendly enough, good food. Just not a Friday night date place. More of a quick bite to eat and go. We were told they had liquor but not, just beer.

Great food for a reasonable price

Looking for a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place to eat on a long drive. Stopped here. Food was delicious. Homemade and so tasty. Guacamole, queso, and salsas were top shelf. We will try to stop back in on our next road trip.

Descent food but bathrooms are dirty several tables dirty

Food and service were good, but it was too hot in the dining area. Hard to really enjoy it when you are sweating. I will go back in the fall.

Don't expect Tex mex guac. Theirs is Oaxaca style. Other than that you better not tell too many folks about this place, it's already getting full business almost every day for the small location. This restaurant will feed you a fantastic meal for 6 bucks or you can feel like you ate at your gourmet Abuela's for 10. Seriously, there is a saint of Mexican food in the kitchen. Too many choices to list. The ingredients are great and fresh, and the cooking is wonderful. Here's a picture of the to go beef nachos I snuck back to my little barn and chowed down. (Note the beef is steak meat. Who else does that?) Don't be in a hurry when you come here. Greatness takes some time. Cielito Lindo, Aiyiiii! Viva Tejas!

Best Chicken Street Tacos I've had. Green sauce is awesome--great flavor and spice level. Highly recommend this unassuming gem.

Extremely authentic and reasonably priced. Need I say more? Well ok then. Best pork tamale I’ve ever had and taco Tuesday at this place is phenomenal. Need I say more? Well ok then. It’s fantastic food at a fantastic price. Eat here. Do it. Now!

Was just in there today for carryout. It was wonderful along with the Tres Leche cake. Very clean and waitstaff was pleasant and very helpful. Go and give it a try.

Good food and wonderful variety.

Decided to get off the beaten path while traveling. Small off the highway place a bit, take the time! Food is handmade. We had a Chix burrito, taco plate, tamales, soup, and Leches cake (the best!) Not fancy but delicious...we will go back when passing by! Enjoy!

Service takes for ever, but decent food

Great prices and portion sizes with bottomless chips. Overall a great value. The margaritas seem to be lemon lime soda and some liquor, so they are not high quality but again the value is great.

Had the fajita beef tacos. So good! Both sauces are delicious with just the right amount of kick. Cannot wait to go back and try it again.

husband ordered the pork guisada and said it tasted like ketchup. his beans and rice were cold. returned it. the queso blanco was as thin as water. the flour tortillas were store bought i had the gordita. it was cold the meat was ok gave the husband the other one since he didn’t eat the plate he said the masa was dry. which it was. the only thing good was the green salsa and the chips

First time in. I wanted to try the street tacos. Pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Lesson learned to not judge a book by it's cover. I'll definitely be a repeat customer 🙂

Always fresh and tasty. Real Mexican menu served with a smile. Prices are very reasonable. You'll be happy you dined with them.

DECENT STREET FOOOOOD!!! We thought we'd have to go back to Vegas or even Los Angeles to get some decent tacos SO HAPPY for real tacos!! I haven't tried their platters (look pretty good tho) so I can't pass judgment there but the tacos are bomb. As I'm starved for good Street food I'm bubbling with happy with this place, but all that happy aside here's the reality: fresh yummy awesome isn't cheap (small taco with onion cilantro a little jalapeno served with double white corn tortillas and a mild Verde/tomatillo salsa on the side) Props for having Mexican soda and agua fresca but the super sweet horchata was from concentrate. That said it was pretty dang awesome to put all that in my delighted face. Thank you Jesus, you really do love this old ex foodie hipster.
